Jon’s skills portray everything a point guard should be, a distributor, a playmaker, a defender and a scorer. Mike Palacios – 6′1 – 16 yrs old – SG/SF – (SIPAG-NY/NYCE)

Versatile and one of the most prized prospect players in the NY-NJ Metro area. Mike is a player that can score in both posts, and in the perimeter. He can defend the 1-2-3-4-5 and is a consistent rebounder on both offense & defense. A natural role player, Mike can be the go-to guy on any given day. Good luck to opposing teams that catch Mike on his good days.

Explosive, committed and skilled. Point guards that take care of the ball, can score in & out of the paint and are consistent on defense don’t come around often. Paolo brings that intensity night in and night out. A hard worker that can shoot the ball, handle the rock and defend, he’s a match up nightmare for opposing teams, not to mention one of the Arch Rivals of Marlon Sim.

Ryan Erwin Agana – 6′2 – 16 yrs old – G/F – (Montreal-Marquis)

With height, ball handling skills and his most efficient weapon, his shooting touch, Ryan Erwin has emerged as one of the top Fil-Can prospects from the Quebec region of Canada. With guard like abilities at his height, Ryan can see the floor and set up the offense while still being a deadly option on offense as he could shoot from any angle at any distance and also attack the rim.

Sixth Player Standout
Kean Lopez – 5′11 – 14 yrs old – G/F – (Dolce/cKatt-Toronto)

With height, length, speed and heart, Kean is above the average ball player. Don’t be fooled with his laid back expression, because his work ethic is the total opposite as a work horse on both ends of the floor. His ability to get into the lane and score around the rim makes him a matchup problem for many teams. Who ever he suits up for, he makes them an automatic contender.

FIFTH PLAYER STANDOUT
AJ Pizon – 5′7 – 16 yrs old – SG/PG – (North Jersey-Bergenfield)

Putting himself on the map in NABA 2007, AJ’s offensive arsenal has caught the eyes of many people. Between his unlimited range and his vicious attacks to the basket, his scoring extinct is a nightmare for opposing team’s defenses.  One aspect improving about his game that will make him more versatile, is his defense. AC Hagoriles – 6′1 – 16 yrs old – SG/SF – (GMA-Lakan Toronto)

AC has been one of the dominant Fil-Cans over the past several years. Deadly on the open court, he uses  the combo of his speed and strength to get to the basket. A natural shot blocker with deadly touch behind the arc, AC is amongst the best not only amongst Fil-Cans but Fil-Ams as well.

THIRD PLAYER STANDOUT

Casey Skievaski – 6′0 – 16 yrs old – SG/SF – (NYCE-ORLANDO)

Casey made his NY-NJ debut playing for NYCE Dream in HOOPSVILLE, and it was one to remember. This North Jersey Junior Intercity Team recruit displayed his athletic abilities, overpowering weaker defenders and using his speed & intensity to pick up steal after steal. Casey could easily be one of the top players his age and will be someone to watch as the years go by.

SECOND PLAYER STANDOUT

Jason Lomboy – 5’6 – 14 yrs old – PG/SG – (North York-NYPAA)

One of the uprising Fil-Can Allstars representing North York-NYPAA(Toronto), this NABA 2008 Bantam Division MVP is one of the most athletic players his age. With speed, strength and strong leaping ability, his athleticism matches his talent. He is a rare combo player who could run an offense, and also be a lethal scorer.

Coco Clemente – 6’2 – 17 yrs old – G/F/C – (SIPAG-NYC/TLC):

Coco is if not the top, one of the top 17 year olds in the NY-NJ TriState Area. A versatile ball player who can handle, shoot and rebound the basketball. A player who can defend every position and score at will. Coco is living up to his family’s name in their dominance of Filipino basketball along the east coast.
